Items of note include deeds of the Hawkins family for the family homestead near Portion Road, 1838-1914; a justice docket, with transcripts of testimony and summaries of cases, kept by Charles W. Hawkins, Justice of Peace, 1887-1895; tax assessment roll for Ronkonkoma, 1902-1911; visitors register of the Lake Ronkonkoma Club, 1891; record books of the American Legion Auxiliary, William Merritt Hallock Unit, Lake Ronkonkoma, 1950-1982; a book of minutes and other records of the Lake Ronkonkoma PTA, 1936-1944; and postcards of Lake Ronkonkoma and of Selden, Patchogue, Port Jefferson, Riverhead and other locations on Long Island. There are also photographs of beaches and boats on the lake, ice boats, houses, stores and school children; a school register for District #5, 1892-1893; autograph books, school workbooks and copybooks; and information booklets on the Long Island Rail Road, 1926-1929.
